Quick walk from my hotel in downtown LA. Ralph's is a bustling neighborhood market! Great selections of all food categories.
This ralph is located in downtown Los Angeles. Well stacked and super busy but very clean store.
Love the savings and the sales items, especially the meat. The meat selection is beautiful, fresh, good quantity for the family, at a good price, especially when they have a few items that are on sale. I enjoy shopping there on fridays to get some prepared food for the weekend. Saved about 25 dollars.

Elizabeth in the cheese department is truly the sweetest person! She was incredibly kind, welcoming, and extremely knowledgeable about cheese. She took the time to help us choose the perfect options and recommended the Sweet Heat jam for our charcuterie board—which was absolutely amazing. My wife and I loved it. This is the Ralphs to go to for that after-the-bar drinks, snacks and last minute birthday cake/candles. Always a pleasant experience here. Had a lovely conversation about the Marge Simpson kill-off with the clerks at the secured retail section. Their parking lot lobby is pretty cool so we decided to have a little photo shoot. Then we sang happy birthday to me and had cake in the car. Don’t drink and drive. Don’t sleep in your car either. There’s always Über. Good times & safe times.

They have a lot of deals there, but coupons coupons coupons! You have to have your coupons if you want the deals, and you need the little downloaded app with the number if you want to get special deals as well. But overall they have everything you need, everything is itemized and everything is clean. The parking is underground, so you must drive down a steep incline and back up a steep incline, but once you get through that little lane it's all good. If you use the downstairs parking lot you do have to take an elevator to get upstairs and back downstairs to your car.

The store is well stocked and always has a good selection of options from which to choose. It's also a clean store. That cleanliness I noted is something that can't be terribly easy to maintain with all the transients who seem to gravitate towards downtown LA. The staff members have always been either friendly, helpful, and sometimes, both. Overall, if I'm in the area and need to make a grocery run this location provides the selection, cleanliness, and helpful staff needed to make the trip worthwhile. Just be prepared to see a handful of niche items that are a bit overpriced. This is a known "gotcha" when making persnickety selections in trendy or high traffic locations in LA so don't let it bother you too much.
